State agencies must register with the Consortium before they can shop and place orders using the State of California office supplies contract. Agencies can register on-line at www.califofficesupplies.com. Fax registration forms are also available at this site.
Contract items can be ordered on-line, or by fax and phone. Most of the items included in this contract are available for next day delivery. Off-contract items can be purchased at special state rates.
Orders can be placed on-line using the Epylon Corporation eCommerce System. The Epylon catalog includes 380 core items at heavily discounted prices in addition to over 6000 off-contract products at special prices.
While this is a mandatory contract, state agencies may continue to do business with any member of the team where they have existing relationships using the current rules governing purchases from small businesses. Items not available through the contract can be purchased from www.waldecks.com.
